With our experience of working for children, we have realized that any one, big or small, can help bring change. Every one today can make a significant contribution in their own ways and can bring about this change.
We therefore look forward to gathering support from various Corporate Partners who can and who do believe in this cause and realize that they can play a role in bringing about this change.
William Charitable Trust seeks to work with leading companies in long-term, multi-faceted partnerships that generate the best possible return for both of our organisations.
A partnership with William Charitable Trust offers:
- A new way to engage, motivate and unite your staff through working towards a compelling common cause.
- Added value to your brand and reputation by partnering with the world’s largest independent organisation for children.
- A strong, robust and honest story built on the synergies between our organisations.
- A new way of engaging with your customers.
- A genuine point of difference for your business in terms of corporate social responsibility.
- A defined and integrated charitable giving policy across a global organization.
Insights into a successful partnership:
- Agreement at the beginning of the partnership on objectives, process, resources and key performance indicators.
- Obvious synergies and mutual objectives.
- Appropriate resources and buy-in, in place to develop and galvanise the partnership.
- Central co-ordination, building national and international relationships.
The Partnership - Moving Forward
- Identify which focus area of William Charitable Trust work might be most appropriate to support, taking into consideration common areas of interest, business strategy, objectives, key drivers and geographic locations.
- Once a focus area has been identified, Save the Children’s proposal writing team will work on creating concept notes and budgets relating to potential projects within a chosen theme.
- Work in partnership to identify which projects (according to the funder’s areas of interest and commercial synergy) can be further explored and worked up to form the basis of a partnership.
- Once a specific project has been identified, William Charitable Trust will present a full project proposal (including financial information, and needs analysis documentation) together with information about proposed employee engagement and communication activities, looking at how we can package and communicate out partnership in a way which resonates on a tangible/emotional level with your relevant stakeholders.
- We would also be very happy to arrange a teleconference between a funder and the Director of Programmes with responsibility for overseeing your chosen project, and to provide you with a peer reference from the CEO of one of our current corporate partners.
